Stock exhaust has no removable baffle. People have drilled out the baffle to make it louder. The search function will find the relevant thread on that. Arguably the most popular slip on exhaust is the Arrow. It’s available in the USA and around $550. The Arrow looks nearly identical in shape to stock but is smaller and also retains the OEM heat shield. There is a good video on YouTube of the Arrow in action compared to stock. Yoshimura also has their RS3 available, but it does not keep the stock look if that matters to you. It is cheaper then the Arrow.

In response to your tuning question, there is really no need to tune fueling for just a slip on. Bolt the thing on and ride away.

Delkevic model KIT25BW is 50% shorter and about 20 lbs lighter than factory muffler. It makes a nice low grumble, about 60% louder than stock across the rev range. $184 shipped to my door. You can find audio and comparison clips on youtube.

I like the look and I like the price. Hopefully I like the sound.

Thanks for the info. If I'm converting Yen to USD correctly I'm gonna have to go with a cheaper option. But maybe in the future!
