I think that the RC fairing and some other windscreens may act like parabolic sound reflectors.
I didn't really notice any buzz until I mounted the National Cycle EX screen, which was in no way touching the instrument cluster, but it seems to have focused or amplified other noises right back at me.
My buzz turned out to be the notorious "headlight bucket rattle" which others have experienced. It was most noticeable right around 3500 rpm. The "Popgun Foam Wrap Job" worked for me!
