First impression after 500 km is very good. It's really good to steer, hits the line in the curve, very handy and no glitch so far, even as I start to provoke it.
At the beginning I was a bit guarded, as I didn't trust it too much. It's a complete new tire to me. Then I got a little bit more familiar to it.
Handling is better than the Bridgestone T30 (160/60 ZR18) , which I used before. While I really like the grip of the T30, I always was a little bit unhappy with the 160 size, which is not the best fit for the rim.
I rode the Z8 some km in rain at one day. No problem at all. Full grip at speeding up out of the corner. I applied the brake into ABS to get a feeling, when it starts to block on wet road: very late with wheezing tires. Grip seems to be good.
So, I'm starting to feel very confident with this new tire and I'm down to footpeg dragging already (feelers removed). Chicken strips have been already gone.
Lets see, how it works on longer trips. Next Sunday I'll go out for a 300 km trip in twisty back roads with some friends on their beemers.
So far, I would buy it again without any hesitation.
