Loose Instrument Panel / cluster
#6
I saw this thread and thought mine seemed a little loose too, but I thought it was mounted to move like popgun said, until today. I found the bolt attaching one of the brackets to the bottom of the top triple clamp was gone. #@$&%! I would not have guessed that these would vibrate out. I ordered a replacement from Babbitts Honda Partshouse (I like their online schematics). They list it as a 6x12 flange bolt, part #95701-06012-07. There's no torque spec. in the shop manual so does anybody think blue loctite would be a problem if I used it? I hope I can replace it without taking the headlight assembly off, it looks like one can. Anyway, it might be a good idea to check yours just in case. And of course now I see popgun's link where the parts are much cheaper.....it's been that kind of evening.
