DBM, please don't think that we are picking on you or blaming you at all for what happened. Carbon buildup may have been there from the original owner, given that he didn't have many miles on it, and may have just started it up and blipped the throttle a lot in the garage.
It's also hard to know how truly clean-burning any particular fuel is, as there are different formulations for seasons, and so many different refineries.
Anyway, the big question is, since it is still vibrating badly, will the dealer take it back apart and fix the problem?
