I only had one flat tire in 50 on my bike , a large piece of aluminium angle piece on a fairly new tire on a 1980 CBX , called a friend in PA to pick me up and take me home in NY.

Ouch, a little bit complex question, I had to set an Excel sheet for the requested calculations...
Result is 1.4 : about 140000 miles (6 bikes, 50 years), two flats I remember (but maybe there were some others in the '70s). In both cases I discovered the flat when taking the bike out the garage, so I was not too worried. But on the CB1100 I have always, under the seat, a tubeless tire repair kit, with a CO2 bottle, even if I never used it.

One flat, middle of nowhere in southwest Costa Rica. Within minutes of flat, and after not seing a vehicle in either direction for 20 some minutes on a lonely gravel road, a pickup with 3 guys in the back pulls up next to me. My tube was destroyed by a nail, so between the four of us we hoisted the bike in the bed of the truck, then they turned around and headed back to the town where they had just come from, dropped me off at tire place, new tube, an hour later I was back on my way, this time with a spare tube. New tube and install cost me $7.

Probably 110,000 miles. So less than 1 if my math is any good.

Quite possible. All my "Attention: Pull over!" was in the 80's, even one of them involving multiple police cruisers.

Based on what we learned from this thread, I swear ... (by the jinxed ...) that you want have a flat in the next 50,000. Just don't waste space in your haversack on the coming 1000 trips to nirvana.
