I just used spit and it took me about 20 minutes to install them. After they dried you can not move them. I installed rubber end cabs and gaiters and calling the bike complete of me.

I like how you've done yours Rick, and actually sucked it up and went back to the Kwacker shop and ordered the W650 gaiters. They just look so nice on yours.
And of course when I pick mine up it will come with the little rubber ball end covers.
I think I will add the chrome instrument covers if/ when they become available as well.
Oh and I might need a red headlight bucket too

There was a bit of a mix up. They did have a 14 CB 1100 come in today, but it wasn't mine. Because mine was the first ordered they assumed it would be the first coming in, and that's what they assumed when they told me mine had been shipped. Alas it was a black 14 "standard". Mine was shipped today (at least they think it's mine) and should be here next week.
If it had been there today I wouldn't have picked it up anyway, as we have had sleety frozen drizzle rainy wintry mix here today with snow predicted for later, but at least I would have been able to maybe get some pics of it. (the black one was still crated up when I was there). Fri, Sat, Sun and Tues are predicted bad weather as well.
Blessing in disguise?
so ...maybe the end of next week? Fingers crossed.
Monday is supposed to be fair and I plan on riding 125 miles from here for a steak dinner with my brother.. our first "Ribber Run" of the year. Guess I will be ST mounted.
Hmmm...let me guess: You're riding to the Scioto Ribber in Portsmouth?

Ferret, I hope you get your bike next week. I would like to have the dual exhaust and the seat may be black side covers. But I am going to leave it as is. When you get tired of riding the new CB1100 be sure to lets us know how it compares to the 2013 CB1100. Ride safe my friend and enjoy!

Yeah, I've been there. Portsmouth is about 30 miles west of me. If you get burnt out on steaks go east some to New Boston and try Hickie's. They've got great little slider-type burgers.

Yep eaten at Hickies before too. I called on Portsmouth and New Boston, and Ironton, and South Point and Coal Grove and Chesapeake and Gallipolis etc for 24 years. Think I have eaten everywhere on 52 lol
