Wow doesn't look like much assembly is required.

Yea, see if I ever pay for a dealer assembly fee! I will take in the crate and do it myself.

yes, some peeling, installing mirror, add oil in the engine, multi point inspections, fueling, test ride and that's it...
2.3 miles on the ODO when I took delivery. Built Date; 01/2014.

Congratulations Joel... the bike looks terrific!! And welcome to the forum too... I think I read that you're new here. You landed in a good place. Please take a lot of pictures, but more importantly give us a flavor for how she rides, what the 6th gear feels like, how she feels etc.. There's a fair amount of us that are excited to be trading our 13's for the 14... we've read the reports, seen the photos, but no ones actually ridden one. And we're dying to find out... Also, without stepping on Ferrets or Guths toes...make sure you fill in the registry with the date purchased, the last few digits of the vin number, etc. Good job and WELCOME!

Joel you saw the dealer put in engine oil? Because that is a question we have discussed several times, whether the bike comes with break in oil or whether the dealer puts drum oil in it.
Also next time you are out for a ride..see how many rpms the bike is turning at say 60 mph in 5 th and 60 in 6 th. |
