True Confessions of CB1100 Riders
Hey, Randy. How are you recovering?
Confession: I still sometimes forget to put the stand up before I stick the bike in gear.

Slowly. I'm in a sling for the foreseeable future, my guess is at least another 3-4 weeks and it hurts to move my arm much. MY ribs ar healing, but it still hurts to cough and don't even think about sneezing. Th puncture wound in my lrft ankle is taking its time as well, but to be fair it started out about 2¼" x 1¾" and between ¼" and ½" deep so its going to take a while.

Randy what poked the hole in your ankle?

Cormanus...I do that a lot as well, particularly on my ST 1300. Drives me nuts.

My only guess is the foot peg. The only thing I can think of is as I was going down my foot slipped off and it must have gotten me as
I hit the ground. Other than that I wouldn't have a clue.

I had a Yamaha QT50 that hit me (and ran off) and now I don't recall what part of the bike impaled my left shin, denting the bone and severing the nerve. Two years later I could feel my lower leg again though, so all is well.
OK the Yamaha didn't hit me, I was on it and a truck hit me.

Geez that's a relief to hear Ferret. I thought I was just really goofy.

I sat on a CTX1300 yesterday; it's quite a machine, but I can see why you might like riding such a big bike over long distances.
