ABS or no? Who has what?
#21
I purchased mine without ABS. I would always choose ABS if it is designed to my liking. Unfortunately, I do not care for Honda's integration. I had it on a Gold Wing. I don't like to give up independent control of the front and rear brakes. I own a generation 1, Yamaha FJR with independent ABS and a BMW 1200 GS ABS which integrates front and rear through the front brake lever only leaving the rear ABS brake completely independent. That sounds kind of weird, but it works quite well.

Mine has abs and I like, but I bought mine because it is number 87.

You could mention any VIN # associated with a CB1100 and I'd say that's all the reason you'd need to justify a purchase. Big Grin

Yeah, I doubt he would have turned-down #88. Big Grin

I have the rear wheel only abs. All seriousness aside, I did see someone post this a couple of weeks ago. There is an abs-looking disc on the rear wheel which I did not notice until last night while cleaning. Don't know what it's for yet, but I suppose I could look it up.
