CB1100 first cousin

I have learned that the cbx guys on the forum know there stuff about the cbx and they are picky picky when it comes to parts and paint work I got a guy that can paint candy glory red nice match! I don't know why the guys with the cb 13 models don't paint their side covers to match rather than buying the new ones for that high price. I know this forum is new but I think it's great the main thing is for riders to help each other out and have fun and so far that's what I have seen on here! Smile

Here's a mind-bender for you CBX enthusiasts. This guy I know in N. Dakota has 13 of them. Here's a photo of a row of 10 of his, two others were on display at the local Honda dealer when I took this and he keeps one separate as a rider. The ones toward the wall are the later touring models. Most of them have under 100 miles on them.

Some of his early Goldwings:

Five W650s. First bike partially shown is a 60s W1 650, he has a few of those too.

The row on the right in this picture is all early 4-cyl. Hondas. Half of the row toward the back is all CB750s, every year and every color from 1969 to 1976. The other half of the row of Turbo bikes is CB750s too. He has since acquired a few more sandcast 750s to complete the color chart for the '69s.

Pretty crazy, huh? No need to go to the Honda museum in Japan when this is just down the road from me. Thumbs Up

He owns a couple of CB1100s too. One for his museum and one to ride.

Ridem,

Last year a member had his buddy, a pro painter, price out a repaint and it was going to cost more that buying the covers.

Ridem, I know him, but I don't think I know him well enough to give out his name and phone #. Tell you what, I'm taking a buddy over to visit him sometime in the next couple of months, and I'll ask him personally if he minds me giving you his phone #. Sorry man, I don't want to lose my visitation rights! Blush
