Snow????

Woke up to about 3" of snow on the ground here in the Chicagoland area. I put the snowblower away 2 days ago when it was 60 degrees. I must have jinxed it.

It's hard for me to imagine you guys getting snow this late. We already had spring and are well on our way towards summer. It's 87 degrees right now and will be in the mid 90s by the weekend. Makes you wonder if we're actually in the same hemisphere

I drove to NC last Monday and got a nice taste of spring, 85 in VA, 75 on the Outer Banks and mid 60s near Raleigh. The daffys were up, trees were flowering, it was great. Then I flew back to Boston walked out the door and it was 27.....and it barely hit 30 here today

I got a good picture of the national weather today on one of those multi hop plane trips. Nice in Denver, crappy with snow in Indianapolis, nice in Atlanta, hot and humid in Miami. Miss my bike

The snow is almost gone but now we have rain for most of the day. I am a fair weather rider anyway so I will wait for the sun to shine. At least the rain will wash off most of the salt left on the roadways.
