I've read an article about this track day and if I lived closer I'd be signed up already. If you're in or near Connecticut, check this out...

That just might be the sort of thing that returning riders, and others, might find very useful. My comment is driven by Linux's [url=http://cb1100forum.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=5413&pid=82665#pid82665]Tips thread.
Cheers

I went to a track with my bike last summer for a day. It was with mostly sport bikes and I was in the beginner class. It was amazing. I had never done anything like it before and did not know what to expect. I felt like I was a confident and competent rider going in, but I learned so much in that one day. I would say my speed and skill went up exponentially just in that one day and learned how to corner and handle my bike in ways I had never dreamed of before, or didn't even know how to dream about. I pushed the CB to way beyond anything I had dared before, mostly in cornering with speed. My tires were worn right to the edges and my pegs were scraped many times.
I want home and started looking up used CB600RR prices thinking I would make a serious new hobby out of this. I haven't done that yet, but I plan to go to the track at least a few times with my CB again this summer.
I recommend it to anyone who has thought about it.
