My CB got stolen today

I agree with having the bike fixed. It won't have a salvage title. I would take some details pictures of the bike before disassembly to compare any discrepancies.

I'm with VW and the others and I am both a Progressive agent a Progressive customer who had a claim. They were very fair and spent a lot of money bringing my bike back to the way I wanted it. Sounds like your dealer knows what it's doing, too, so I have no doubt that you will have a satisfactory outcome to this.

Besides...Progressive ain't going to total it unless it's totaled, so arguing the point seems, well, kinda pointless.

Oh Geez, I'm not trying to rain on his parade. Forums are for offering opinions and generally helping suggestions. I think he understands that.

All I'm putting out is that we pay so much for insurance, we should get a true return for our investment. There was a time that I would have gone his route, but it is the thing that we can't see that are my concern for him.

I've rebuilt bikes too and that's what scares me...lol.
