I Gotta Know................

I understand that you treat your bike with kid gloves and cotton rags. But I want to know from anyone who has ridden/tooled their bike enough to have dropped it. Can you pick it up by yourself?
Since I ride solo, this is a big issue for my final decision to purchase this bike. It is not like I can walk into a dealer and ask to lay a bike down on the floor.
'Fess up, you dropped it, heart sank, adrenaline kicked in, and............

I replied in your other post...but I have had to put mine upright twice. No problems at all. I even can pivot it on the side stand although Cormanus won't believe me until I provide video documentation.

I'm little old and feeble too Big Grin and yesterday stopped mine from hitting the deck after a stationary bad kickstand lowering. It's manageable.

I've picked it up once. Not the lightest thing in the world, but manageable. As long as you don’t get stuck under it.

Helps to have case savers. Once its' on the case savers you can rest, readjust your grip and pop her up the rest of the way. She's pretty easy to pick up - if you're not on gravel nor hurt.
