A friend of mine has been bugging me to sell it. I'm going to let him drive it for a few days to see how he likes it.

Good call my friend. I buy, sell and build vehicles for fun, and am not married to any of them.
Some make money to afford the others
The CB has been a labor of love. I've enjoyed building, riding and answering all the questions people ask. As one can tell, with what I've done, I never expected to make any $$ from it.
To me, it's has been and still is, worth every penny I've spent.
24k miles is nothing for todays vehicles, especially Honda. All that recall my buddy Lees Honda RC51 from the rally, it's nearing 130k at this point and has never been cracked open. Pats GTS is showing a tad more

my guess would be that MG just loves motorcycles and after 24k miles the enjoyment of modifying this one has pretty much been achieved to satisfaction and time to move on to another adventure.
This is what i have done over and over through the years as each bike is exciting at first , then enjoy modding it and finally seeing something else that has my interest.
Lets face it , a bike is one thing you can ride all you want , get all the enjoyment out of it and move on to a newer model without seeing a divorce lawyer ...

It was fun watching your taillights disappear into the distance during the not so Bland rally Jim, looking forwards to seeing pictures of what you build next. Hopefully it too will end up in magazines.

Remember Geezer recently bought one of those new XSR Yammie 900 triples which probably satisfies his performance lust a little more than the CB.

He's not quitting, he loves riding too much and his 2 best buds are avid riders

Well that is great news, being as I am sitting here nursing a four-inch scar and bruised jewels (yes that happens but they don't tell you, you have to panic and then do an Internet search). Looks like someone took a can of purple spray paint to the most important stuff...but I digress.

Love to hear us old guys are still out there riding.

No way; seriously, after my appendectomy in 1989 I learned about that the hard way. VERY painful to laugh or any kind of strain. But is is kind of funny, I hope to laugh about all of this later.

Always nice to see a bike ridden properly, either in "total miles traveled" or "most recent maximum lean angle" and especially when covering both bases. Watch those toes ^^^

Kelly Blue Book values a stock DLX in excellent condition at a tad over $8,500, and gives trade in value at $5890, so I think the price I have listed is a fair one.
At least it's a good starting point

I wouldn't sell my DLX for that and it doesnt have all the fancy stuff and has a few thousand more miles
