Plus I have luggage here waiting to go on which would not of fitted. I go right back to the end of the queue, bike put back another 2 months.
As an aside they don't expect to ship any GS1300's until 2024. But he would say that wouldn't he?
That's a bummer Tev

You have every right to be strongly perturbed Tev.
Sadly, this is a signal of how they run their business. If they owned up to their error, they would have done a better job of compensation and adjustments in regards to their [make-up] offer.
I am finding most dealerships (doesn't matter brand, and otherwise) are getting real lazy on accountability and just general product knowledge.
I asked a Guzzi dealership why Canada gets incandescent signal lights for 2021 and 2022 V85TT when the rest of the world gets LEDs. They didn't have an answer. Something that simple they should have - if they cared enough about the products they are pushing.

Speaking of the GSA… I bought a 2022 in October (traded in a ‘21 Street Glide Special) and couldn’t be happier with it. The SGS was 800 lbs and not very well balanced. It was great for eating up miles on the interstate, but you had to get there first. I was always in fear of dropping it at slow speeds. The GSA weighs ‘only’ 600 lbs but is incredibly well balanced. It reminds me of my KLR with its tall saddle and the ability to sit upright with no back rest needed. It’s definitely a mile cruncher, great on the highway, easy to ride around town, and has the ability to do dirt riding too. Although I don’t expect to ride it off road much saving the KLR for that. It’s a great machine!

Wow! You've really turned on the V85 GO.

Is this your experience GO? If so that would be a great shame. It seems with every incarnation of a bike Guzzi (and Ducati) say they have sorted out the "issues" but every year you hear horror stories about support. You can almost forgive a bike having an issue if the dealer/manufacturer supports you fully to resolve it.
The local Triumph/Ducati/Harley franchise did have a lot of first year issues with the Pan America but they seem to of settled down, Triumph are generally good too, Ducati is another story, selling and supporting them is a challenge I believe. Ducati are now offering a 4-year warranty here to allay customer fears.

Can't believe other countries get longer warranty than we do. On the CB other countries got 2 years and we only got 1. Same for my NC. Warranties should be the same everywhere on the globe.

I can’t get the Royal Enfield INT650 out of my head. I’ve mentioned it in another thread. Been away at a trade show, and nothing to do at night but watch video reviews of it.
Hoping the weather will be nice over the holidays so I can take one for a ride to see if I’d like it. My reservation would be easy parts availability. There’s a long-time dealer near me, but US online options appear to be a bit scant.

Those video reviews have probably sold more bikes than any advertising...who knows, maybe some of them are directly supported financially by a brand.
The guy I bought my INT from ordered an RE touring seat and an RE rear rack. Both items shipped from India and he said they arrived in just under a month. The tracking info indicated that the items were held up in customs for over two weeks.
A month isn't terrible, but it's something to consider / plan for.
Reading online stories, something simple like RE oil filters were difficult to come by during covid, but many things were. Their availability is seemingly better now and can be found online for about $15 each. The valve check interval is only 3,000 miles--but looks relatively easy to do.
Since you like the INT review videos, maybe you'd like to see the 300 mile service which includes a valve check.
The original owner said he changed the oil but hadn't checked the valves when he sold me the bike with 700 miles. I'll likely check them over the winter or early spring.

Like Gone for another affair, the V85TT is like a maggot in my head. The pressure is pretty strong. Something really organic 'bout Guzzis that has always drawn me in (I really liked the Griso). But the cons are strong.
At least up here, there isn't enough of a tipping point to make the move. If the V85TT competently burned regular octane fuel (without engine ping) in profuse, hot 'n' humid non-moving traffic congestion, that might be enough (maybe). Would be nice if the V85TT would start and run well at -20C. Hondas do both without effort. The 2022 V85TT isn't exactly fairly priced up here given all the cons.
In addition, I'd likely have to give up something due to space constraints. The Honda Africa Twin is very hard to let go. It is such a well-designed model.
Guzzis up here get a two (2) year warranty - but that means squat if the dealer network is weak.
In any case, I started to become a sort of unwitting expert on the V85TT.
