Good luck W/R. Medicine has come a long way. A woman who could barely get out of a chair and could not do anything around her house, got her back fused with titanium spacers and it saved her life. She was out working in the garden afterwards pain free. We'll talk to you as soon as you're back on line.

Best of luck with the surgery, W/R.
I feel fortunate. I had debilitating back problems from the age of 18 into my early 40s, but for some reason, I haven't had a problem for about 15 years.
I know a few people that have had lumbar fusion and it has it's made a huge difference in their lives.
Don't forget to put some stabilizer in the fuel tank. It'll probably be awhile before you've healed enough to ride it.

Good luck on your surgery, last January I had a vertebra removed and 2 discs removed in my neck c1 and c2 spinal stenosis fused with a piece of my hipbone didn't do the trick still suffering with pain and numbness. The ergonomics of the CB doesn't help either .

Well, I made it through the surgery ok (all 6 hours of it) I am now in my room.
I'm not going to lie - the pain is fairly substantial at this point. BUT I noticed an immediate improvement in the pain I feel in my legs.
Only time will tell at this point.
Thanks for all the well wishes everyone
