I'm not sure this adds much to the conversation, but I find it interesting that my neighbor and his riding buddy both ride Goldwings 2003 models I think, he has over 205,000 miles on his wing and his friend has over 230,000 miles. Never a major issue, just a couple switches and regular maintenance. I find that incredible.

I put 136,000 miles on an 84 Gold Wing Aspencade
Tires, batteries, gas, and oil was all it took.

So if yer buying a Yamahopper no test ride on my CTX13?

So just out of curiosity, why didn't you put 137,000 miles on the Wing.

Because after a close call I sold it. Had two young kids and wife talked me into it. 6 monthes later I bought a 550 Nighthawk. She had a short memory
