Looking for a reliable shipper.

I bought the bike now just need to get it from Mo to Ca,any good shippers anybody can recommend? I tried uship and got 3 estimates of $1,000. Looking at one,not enclosed for $650. I’ve paid for the bike,hopefully it will get the build order by Friday and then I can get the shipper booked.

I shipped a bike in March. I used "motorcycle shippers"

shipped from MI to WA $650. They were great! They picked up when they said they would delivered in the window they said they would. Bike arrived clean and undamaged. Got regular updates on line and they called once or twice to let me know exactly within a 2hr. window when they were going to deliver.

You can call their office but you setup the shipping on line. Depending on where the bike is and where you are you can get that #$ down.

The only minor issue (it was winter) was getting the shipper and seller's schedule lined up. If you or they are in a low traffic area, they might only be able to pick up or deliver on a specific day during the week. They don't work weekends.

I called their office in CA several times to get the full story. Talk to Ed. Explains well, customer oriented. He's there early west coast time. The other guy I talked with was young....kinda knew what was going on, but I had a better comfort level with Ed.

I read a bunch of reviews online for different shippers and got the best overall vibe for M.Shippers.
Uship was last on the list. I might have waited and done a fly and ride than go with them. Majority of the comments I read were not so glowing - if ya know what I mean.

I've used Daily Direct (http://www.haulbikes.com) three times and highly recommend them. Motorcycle shipping is their only business and their rates tend to be very reasonable.

I concur, Haulbikes does a fantastic job, have had a number of bikes delivered and picked up by them, never a problem, very professional and good prices.

Thanks for the tips,will check with these. Gettin a little nervous,mailed a check to the dealership over a week ago to pay for the bike and the check still hasn’t shown up.
