Dunno Ferret, this technology is moving more and more quickly. Even Rolls Royce offers an EV these days.

Dunno Cormanus..this latest brand new tech Honda that they have been working on for a couple years still has less than 100 mile range before having to sit at a fast charger (if you've ridden near one) for 1/2 hour before continuing on.
Wouldn't even make one rally loop

Cars are able to EV because the horrible weight of the batteries is not a deterrent and they have the whole underside of the vehicle for battery storage. We are not as lucky with motorcycles. Both weight and battery size are huge deterrents for range and charging times.
and FYI I'd love to have an EV motorcycle, I just won't pay twice as much for half the range and 5 times the time to "fill up"
I have test ridden one, a Zero S way back in 2015. A decade ago. They really haven't made much progress on them since then.

I usually need a 1/2 hour in the restroom every 100 miles. Might be a good option for seniors.

Which begs the question ...are there rest rooms near most EV chargers?
