Well that makes more sense, but the banana trick sounded interesting… Big Grin

This thread reminds me of a Gwen Stafani song.

Figured out the 3 shells yet Mr. Ferret? Big Grin

It’s a line people use to joke with someone when he/she doesn’t know something that is common knowledge among the others. Demolition Man movie line.

Gotta admit PB, I thought he was somehow laying a banana up there to block the airflow. Sounded weird, but whatever works!

OTOH, I have a scrawny neck. So all helmets are loud to me. If I use my hand to block the back of the helmet and neck, it kills the wind noise. I tried that helmet thing that sticks on the helmet and closes off the space. Worked kinda ok on my old Shoei, but my “new” Shoei is too tight to get on to want to mess with the seal thing.

There’s mine on the right mirror. I love it. I think the greatest thing about the Glamster is that it’s a very high build quality, which you probably expect from Shoei, but I was initially concerned it would be lacking since they are going for the vintage look/aesthetic and cutting out some of the vents and aerodynamics for the look. Not the case at all though. Everything seems to work well. It might be noisy, but not a great deal more if at all from my previous lid, an Arai RX-Q which I also loved. This Shoei is way better looking in my opinion and far lighter. Arai did a better job of the chin curtain and also had an intermediate position for the visor to remain open securely at low speeds that was nice, but those are small things compared to the big advantages in looks and weight savings.
