Motorcycle Art
#1
I thought I'd show off a new painting my wife bought me as an early Fathers Day present. Actually... we found it together at an Art Gallery in Dunedin Fla. It's an untitled piece by Jesse Adams. I met the artist, he signed the canvas on the back to us, but I failed to ask him what kind of bike it is. It looks like a Brit bike but I'm not sure. In any event, I think it's pretty cool.

Is it a painting? Very cool. If it were clearer might be able to identify the bike by headlight, forks or pipes.

Well, the guy's riding on the "wrong" side of the road so he has to be somewhere in the current or former empire. Odds are the artist "considers" it a Brit bike. Course, you can consider it to be whatever you want it to be. I'm a huge fan of café bikes and can think of a couple of places in my house where I'd like to see this hanging Thumbs Up

Yes, it's a painting on canvas. He got the inspiration to do the painting from a photograph he saw... In any event, we thought it looked unique. That headlight must be painted with some kind of iridescent paint... I could see it last night in the dark. It was almost a bit creepy.

She did! Normally I get just the garage or the basement...

I'd hope so. If not, that guy is sporting some seriously bent handlebars and asymmetrical foot pegs to be out riding around. ROFL

It would be really interesting to see the original photo and how the artist transformed it into the image presented in the painting and the mood it portrays. The first thought came to mind when I saw the image of the painting is "this guy is trying to get away from someone". Really unique. Thanks for sharing!

Just look at the stripe on his helmet. It has to be Rebel73.

Cool painting and your wife did let you put it over your fireplace. That wouldn't happen in my home!

Drodg, it was even her idea. And what's more is, she doesn't ride and seems to get annoyed at times with all of my toys cluttering up the garage! But we strike when the irons hot... right?
