Final race tomorrow that will determine the World Champion for 2017. Dovi needs to win and have Marquez finish no higher than 11th I think in order for Dovi to be champ. No one else has a chance.

This should be an excellent race as Dovi will be going for broke. Marquez may play it safe or, better yet, push for the victory and take the championship in style.

I like it when champs try and win the last race. Probably not smart, but to me it shows they are worthy.

What a fantastic season it's been. A well deserved win for Marquez, even if he should have fallen off.
Sad for Dovizioso having worked so hard all year. And Ducati whose bikes have been improving all the time.
And Dani Pedrosa. What a ride! Supported Marquez all the way then seized the moment when it was offered.
Johan Zarco will be a man to watch. His was a great ride today.

Man o man that was close..what a save for Marquez. Got to give the champ kudos the devil on his left shoulder said Go For IT and the angel on his right should said stay comfortably in second. He had to listen to the devil and it almost cost him.
Great ride for my man Dani and his second win of the season. He hasn't lost it yet. I think that win got him 4th in the championship ahead of Rossi. His contract is up now, wonder if Honda will re-sign him?
Zarco... at the first race I thought he was a flash in the pan. Now I think he's the real deal.
Lousy year for the factory Yamaha team, especially Vinales.

I've thought Zarco is the real deal for a while. He's always in there somewhere, pushing hard. He's made a real impression this year and will be one to watch in the future. I thought he seemed devastated at the post race interview last night, and who can blame him? He was so very close until Dani's experience paid off.
Ferret, [url=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2018_MotoGP_season]this article at footnote 16 says Dani has a contract until the end of 2018.
There'll be an additional race next year: in early October in Thailand.

Have to give kudos to Mir for putting on a show in the Moto3 event. Looking forward to see what he can do in Moto2. Once again Pedrosa shines but he needs to be more consistent and Zarco shows he can run with anyone. Was hoping for Suzuki to make a bigger impression but having just 2 entries is a challenge.
