I was recently pointed to the” Adventure Bicycling” website as a source for backroad routes for any of us who prefer to take the longer and slower journey.

I’m lucky I guess. Living out west here even with some of the rapid growth we’re experiencing just about everything 10 miles from my house can still be considered a backroad.

Most every road near my house is a backroad as well.

Apparently, if your user name begins with "F", you live near splendid backroads. Might have to call myself Formanus and see if it works.
