Already tried Gorilla Super Glue Gel, fast setting (6 words). It held, for days until I tried to hang it again. No more CBs in the Christmas tree!

I was going to buy the Hallmark 750 ornament, and low and behold my dear Sister gave me one for Christmas! Anyway, I looked at the Minichamps version, as well as the Modelspace.com version listed earlier in this thread, but could not bring myself to pony up the $450 to $1000 those models run when I could put the funds into riding gear or accessories for the bike. The link another member posted earlier in this thread shows the Hallmark is on sale at $9, so I may pick up a spare at that price!

I do like models of my favorite bikes and cars, which prompted me to see what else was available out there in a detailed 750 Four model. I found something reasonably priced that other Forum members might like, on EBay, but probably available elsewhere as well. Aoshima Skynet makes the 750 Four assembled die cast in gold, red, and blue, with average price including shipping from Japan of $30. Models like from Minichamps, for example, are pretty detailed. So there is a trade-off one is willing to accept. In addition, many Minichamps of 1:12 scale and larger have moving parts. For example: The front and/or rear suspension may compress and expand along with swing arm movement, and etc.

Agreed. The Aoshima is just another option, larger and possibly more detailed than the Hallmark, less costly and less detailed than the Minichamps or Modelspace.

I thought I would post an update on this neat little model/ornament. I really never had any intention of using it as an ornament, but did want it for my desk. I thought the ornament hanger loop on the seat was a distraction to the look as a desk model, so I decided to see if it could be removed. It can be removed by carefully unscrewing, as it is a tiny screw eye. I found that the threaded shank of that tiny screw eye is only between 1/32 an 1/16" long. Not badmouthing the model, because I really like it, but given the shank is only screwed into the thickness of the black plastic seat with a short tiny thread, I think it likely that it will fail to hold the model as an ornament on a Christmas tree at some point. With the screw eye removed, the tiny hole in the black plastic seat is not noticeable at all.

Hallmark ornaments are now 75% off at Hallmark stores, so if you can find it still in stock, it will now be about $4.50 plus tax.
