10 days - 3 business meetings (each for several days) - 5000 km - a lot of fun

I had managed to align some business trip with a weekend in some nice locations in Europe. I visited some areas in Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Italy and Czech Republic (sorry VTR1000F, it was only one day – next time it will be longer). I rode some alpine passes in the Alpen-Adria region with many nice turns and curves. Some of them above 2.000 m high, very small streets. The roads sometimes even went from blacktop to gravel to dirt. Now I am sure; our bike can do nearly everything.

Starting in Hamburg I first went to middle Germany (Harz), then to Munich and passing Salzburg to Carinthia. Staying there for some days I explored the alpine passes near the near the border triangle Austria, Italy, Slovenia. After a short visit to Graz I went back to Germany with a short side trip to Czech Republic…..it was wonderful .

Just awesome pics ..... you lucky devil you. The black EX looks awesome as well.

My wife and I spent 2 weeks there, 9 days riding. Took several of the same pics..that big building with all the flowers in the Marien Platz in Munich. The arches in Hamburg. The fog in the Black Forest and in the small valleys in Austria. And is the white castle on the hill the Prince's palace in Lichtenstein? Man I wish Europe was where Canada is lol, I'd be riding there all the time.

I wish too Europe and US would be closer together...you have some extremely lovely locations I would like to visit with my EX.

Thanks for the info on the castle. SO much history and cool stuff to see in Europe.

We were so amazed that we saw visible no scars from WW2. Everything was rebuilt so original it's like there was no damage at all. Just beautiful and amazing.

Absolutely amazing trip. Your photos are fantastic and bring back many memories to me. You are right - the CB is a bike that does most things very well.

Here is the proof:
Probably I am back in this area by end of Auugust / beginning of September. A white and a black EX would be a nice pair

Very nice! Those paving stones in the last set of photos sure look slippery. I would definitely feel a pucker riding on them!
