That's the first time I've noticed old and new together. I like both , but I think I like the old flanged tank better. It looks more "period correct" . I'm sure the 2 tone paint helps , too.

Yes, I'm with you - I much prefer the tank on the "Gen 1" version.

i have a DLX , the blue (EX ) ...for me is gen.1 with 4in1 exhaust , not DLX

Yes John, I replaced it and the clutch lever too with foldable ones from LSL:

I bought the black ones.
They are more expensive than the Honda parts but not that much, they have been reduced a few € and can hopefully prevent a damage if my CB experiences a new downfall, which I don't plan. One never knows.
