Nice long, enjoyable holiday weekend on so many different levels. Actually managed to squeeze two short rides in, an unheard of luxury for me these days. They were beautiful days for riding; temps in the low 70s, pale blue skies with just a hint of wispy clouds...hard to believe my riding season is almost over now; the long hot days of 100 plus degrees are only just a few weeks away.
The landscape out here has mostly burned off into it's usual "Golden State" hues, the lush green hills of winter and early spring long gone now. Still, there's a stark beauty to the California outland, regardless of its seasonal color, which only seems to be further accented by the bright chrome and ruby bodywork of the CB.
