A recent 3-day moto tour of Southern California mountains. San Diego to Idylwild, Big Bear, Angeles Crest, and back. About 700 miles, everything from summer heat to rain. Stayed both nights in a campground near Lake Arrowhead, so the Day 2 shots are without the luggage.

This morning the weather has finally decided to switch back to summer. The temperature was perfect for riding, the sun was shining and there were not many cars out being a week day. Went for a wonderful ride for some three hours.

Stopped here at the "pit stop" at the bottom of one of the best roads of the area:

This bike is just perfect for this kind of riding. Relaxing, comfortable, competent and oh so beautiful!

Here is a picture of the CB fully packed in good optical condition at the start
for a scandinavian trip.



And here the same bike after nearly two weeks on it's rain tour somewhere in
Norway being somehow mutated.



But nevertheless it was a long and nice road trip.

The Honda "survived" the tour over 6.300km without the slightest problem,
an always satisfying road runner, despite of the fact, that the chain had to be oiled very often, 'cause of so much
water under and over the rider and its horse.
