Is it possible to distinguish a member's signature from the post in which it appears. For example, on the previous forum there is a line break then a couple of underscored characters before the signature. There is an example in this post.

Let me investigate and I will advise. There were major and minor releases between the old Forum and the new Forum. Features changed. My instincts tell me it is doable by me “tricking” the system by creating a signature template I apply across the Forum. ETA unknown but I hope it will be quick. Will apply immediately if I prove myself right. David

One way we can accomplish the signature separation is to allow users to include it in their base signature like you see in this post. I have yet to find a way to set a default without over-writing a user defined signature. Will keep looking.

If you alter your signature to include a line separator, I believe it will appear like the one you see in this post. Do you like the placement and line I added to my signature? Does it achieved the desired result? Please let me know. Still learning, David

Yes, David, looks much better.

I'm attaching a screen shot of the old forum's signature block. I'm sure the line is somehow automated. I wonder whether it involves a minor modification of the script allowing signature creation?

It is definitely a setting, but I simply do not know the programming language and which one of the zillion tables to insert the line spacer. For now, I may have to offload the burden to the users until I sort it out. More to follow and sorry for the delay in getting it where we want it to be automatically. David

Don't sweat it, David, there are more important issues. Don't put yourself under pressure. Please accept I was not asking for urgent action, just trying to create a list of issue to address when time allows.

Testing signature update.

Testing signature update.

It appears that we have managed to add the line separator between posts and the signature block of a Member. Issue resolved.
