Great pictures and story. I have friends in Hawaii who keep inviting us. I just hate long plane rides and airports. Maybe the thought of a good Mai Tai afterwards would help ease the pain. Thank you for this.

Note to self:

To get MTC to buy you sumthin', offer him sacrifices of Mai Tais, then together go shopping afterwards.

Truth be told, Cheryl was bought both her sunglasses and my shirt with her own money and without consulting me on either. She also bought a dress, a ring, earrings, and a necklace and that was just on our first trip to Monkeypod. I bought my own sunglasses (Ray Ban Clubmasters) and she bought me another shirt along with a few other lesser, but not low, priced items on our second Monkeypod visit.

I'd be more than willing to buy you something, whether I'm drunk or not, but the adage referencing stones and blood pops into my head.

good golly those are some great pics.

Mrs. Ferret read part one last night and loved it. Although, at one point I did hear her say "Spam? ewwww."

I'm not even going to let her see these last pics you posted. That could prove very costly for me. As far as she is concerned your ride report ended with Post # 1 lol

Did you get to try out the Pan Am?

I did not try out the Pan Am. I have so little interest in that bike that it took me a second to realize you were referencing it and not the defunct airline. LOL

Tony said that it was very difficult to shift, but otherwise performed well for him. Predictable handling, decent acceleration, well balanced, comfortable. Let's remember, though, that he's 6'3" so what he thinks about balance and ergonomics is different than what normal-sized humans do
