Hoarder...how do you keep all the carbs clean, engine oil changed, and batteries charged? I have 3 in total and only 1 with a carb... and it's a pain in the $&@!

One of my favorite shots Redbirds was the three generations, SOHC 750, DOHC 750 and our beloved CB1100.

Luckily Deb is as into as I am and is a big help.

Our garage looks like a Battery Tender life support system with multi-bank tenders blinking everywhere, stable in the ones that sit awhile, and make sure to rotate and ride em to keep em running good. Every now and then one will get neglected and will need some love to get her going again. All licensed and insured and ridden as much as possible.

IT IS a lot of work, but it's our shared passion.

I agree with that. Until recently I had 3, 2 with carbs. They sure don't like to sit, but I'm the only rider in the family.

Nice pickup! Looks VERY similar to my recently sold CB900. Im sure they were in direct sales competition back in the day.

Thanks. That was my retro ride up until I found the CB1100. It was really nice but I got tired of all the TLC required of older bikes that sit. (I also had CB400)

Well with all the weather it took a couple of weeks for the snow to go down to where we could go get this out of his barn. So got it home yesterday, spent today tuning, cleaning and polishing. She cleaned up nice and sounds awesome, running great!
