I think the knobbies are catching most peoples eyes, I've yet to find 1 person who's seen the TV ad.
Is that the one where the studly guy rides his ArrrrghNinety through town and pulls up in front of the bar? Then he and the super-hot bartendress make goo-goo eyes at his bike?
I'm pretty sure the bartender boinks him because he has an AreNineTee. It's the only plausible outcome of the scenario presented. Unless he has a few drinks, starts to ride home, gets pulled over in a DUI roadblock, goes to jail and has to bail out, gets his bike confiscated, then hires an attorney, spends $10,000 on fees and fines, and pays 10X the standard insurance rates for the next 5 years...
that made me laugh. In my county that is the most plausible scenario. They give out yellow and red license plates for dui offenders here.. The Scarlet A. They are everywhere!
Wow, really? That's harsh, and I doubt it's a deterrent. Just vindictive and mean.
Of course there are no license plates, fines, etc. for the thousands of old farts driving around whacked out of their minds on Oxycotin, and whatever other drugs their "physician" (drug dealer) has prescribed them. Skynyrd's "You been arrested for drivin' while blind" has a completely different meaning here: they're literally blind.

I'm saving all the slips. I'm sure it won't go as high as the CB.
Well unless some cool body kit comes out!!!!
As of now, all I have left is a shock.

Bike companies do the gold to simulate Ohlins, so they went black. The Ohlins shock comes all normal gold because OE is black and white.

Totally understand going with black forks vs. the gold; but now that I see I prefer the gold ones. I think I got used to seeing them or something. Now the gold tubes do go very well with the exhaust pipes. Nice touch.
I dare not ride a R9T, I see all these bike comparisons; typically between the R9T, the CB1100 and the Griso - and I already own the CB and Griso. I can't afford adding a R9T too!

Very nice! I like the black. Know what would look good now? Silver levers instead of black.
Mo $. Lol

Ohlins also makes a cartridge kit for the OE forks. Seems a lot of people are going with only the internals to keep the gold tubes. The complete forks are suppose to work a bit better as a package then the inserts alone.
Either choice is a big improvement over stock.
If it costs more it MUST be better, Right?
