Arrow Exhaust

I have my eye on a used 2017 EX with an arrow exhaust. I’d prefer it fully stock.

How much would a used arrow exhaust be worth?

Is it an easy job to swap out back to stock?

Are there any other changes to the bike’s tuning or anything else one would do when adding or removing an aftermarket exhaust?

Probably no mods made to engine unless some intake work was also done. Probably not, but you might have to see for yourself or get good pics to see if any mods have been made to the intake.

For what it is worth I bet the arrow sounds good, and they make a good product.

If you bought the bike and HAD to return to stock it does look like the stock parts are still available, though pricy.

You can keep an eye on Ebay for a used stock exhaust, or make a post here for someone to trade you.

Most people just put on exhausts without doing anything. If you are lucky- they put in a power commander as well. That would be worth a couple hundred and just unplugs.

If it is just mufflers it is a quick easy couple minute swap.

If it is the full exhaust- figure on a Sat afternoon.

When I bought my 2017EX from a co-worker, it had those same mufflers on them, but it also came with the stockers. I usually don't care for aftermarket exhaust, so I swapped the stock ones back on.

But the Arrows sounded just a tiny bit louder than stock, so I swapped them back on. The original owner said they didn't need any remapping, and I haven't felt any lean or rich spots, or heard any popping. If I had purchased the Arrows, I probably would have been disappointed, as there was little if any difference from stock, but since they were free, I'll keep them on. Mine has the quieter baffles in it, so you might see if they have the other baffles too.

That bike looks like a very good deal, basically a new bike without the freight and setup, and especially if it comes with the stock mufflers. Those are just the slip on mufflers, so as PowerDubs says, takes just minutes.

All that effort to change out the exhaust and yet, no RLETs. Some people have strange priorities. Hopefully, you can remedy that as soon as you get the bike. It's a beauty.

I waited too long to act on it and it was purchased by someone else. Ouch. I hope whoever gets it thoroughly enjoys it and ends up at this site!
