A CB1100 Variant in the works?

Great bike, great sound plenty fast.. Problem for me was it was heavy and it was very tall.

Yeah. I get that. VFR was a bit the same way with worse ergonomics.

I like it. Probably a bit too focused for me to buy and I'd have to trade in the CB to get her to keep the stable count down to a reasonable number - assuming Honda is dense as fruit cake and brings her to the States.

Very tempting. If the price was right I'd have to flog myself and get her.

That is very pretty! However, my knees, wrists and neck ache just looking at that thing. I recon it would be great fun for 20 minute track day sessions!

I was hoping that it was going to be a CB1100 Deluxe based retro tourer. Something like a modern, and more stylish, version of the bike found here!

Yup. It's a work of art...but there comes that time.

I had a chat with a neighbor just last night...never met him before. He saw me ride in; he owns an CBR300. Crotch-rocket. He's early thirties; and he said he's looking for a machine with an upright seating style. Because his back is hurting on his ride.

And he's almost young enough to be my kid. So...I won't be trying to pretend I'm 25 anymore...I'll admire it but from afar.

Now, if they put a four-cylinder 400 in the works...with a 12,000 redline...and if they could fit it into a UJM frame...I'm THERE.
