This is my first photo of my new CBF1000FA. It was token as it arrived at the dealership.
Now the dealership will add OEM paniers and heated grips and we are still waiting for the paperwork. If everything is fine, we'll get it street legal this week.
Sorry for the low quality of the photo. It was token by my cell phone.
If you don't mind, I'd made this thread to a kind of my CBF1000FA blog.
Some info about the CBF1000FA and its predecessor CBF1000:

Good choice Django. Honda should bring that bike to the US.

You missed your chance! They WERE available in Canada and some dealers still had NOS up until about a year ago. I had a 2009 MK1 version and Django has the latest MK2, but I'm sure that his is NOS.
Sadly, I'm pretty sure that they have been out of production for several years.

They should have gave it two modes of power control, one @ the 106 HP that it puts out and 135 hp in full power mode. The motor is from the CBR1000RR design they could have easily toned down the motor on top put in in the mid-range and still produced that kind of power.
Nice write ups on the bike and good luck.

How long before he trades it for a CB1100?
PS. Looks great, Django. Looking forward to hearing how you find it.
