I had two and my wife likes to ride with me , both sucked for that.
had a 2000 Hayabusa factory unrestricted built 12/99 and a BMW R1200R
and both were great bikes. the Busa cramped me bad and the BMW crushed my nuts when i stopped with her on the back.

I love the look of that R1200R. rented one for 9 days in Europe. Wife didn't like riding on the back of it much, but I liked it pretty well.

if you would have slammed on brakes and also had a--- " normal sized "-- Southern American wife behind you , then you would truly understand why the bike had to go and a CB1100 with Bench Seat is such and upgrade

Of the 30 or so bikes I've owned over the last 50+ years (age 16 to 67), mostly Japanese and the majority Hondas at that, there has been many I have enjoyed A LOT. But, perhaps the most memorable was my '67 Honda CB77 "305" Super Hawk. I bought it brand new around age 18.
One of the "last" bikes I thoroughly enjoyed, while I was still young enough to endure a sport bike, was an all black '04 Triumph Daytona 955i SE. That thing made the most awesome sound under hard acceleration. So much it gave me goose bumps. Only 147HP, but a true thoroughbred!
A close second to that sounded like a Ferrari was my '79 Honda CBX.
All the bikes I've owned in their own ways were quite special, some just more than others.

'81 Yamaha XS11. Bought it lightly used and sold it when my son came along in '94. Wanted something like it when the bike bug bit me again last year and the CB fit the bill. Thought I would miss shaft drive, but lighter weight and better handling are good to have. I didn't pay much attention to bikes in the meantime and was surprised to find that there were only a few that looked like a "regular" machine, Triumph, Guzzi and Harley were considered but the Honda really appealed for quality, dealer network and visual appeal. Plus it is just great fun to ride. That Yamaha could really haul, had it up to 120 once and it had plenty left, but I did not. As I recall the handling was a bit elephantine.

LOL, I tried an 883, bought the CB. Test ride was all I could stand.

My last two street-ish bikes. My current others are dirt bikes.
