I'm in Paris at the moment and sat on the Super Cub at the Paris International Auto Show, three days ago.

There are boatloads of Piaggio MP-3's (not to mention a zillion Honda and Yamaha scooters) on the streets here. Came across my sixth CB1100 yesterday, too. The motorcycle scene in Paris appears to be very strong judging by the constant array of bikes zipping around, everything from scooters to BMW's, Hayabusa's and Gold Wings. Seems like everyone rides. Helmets are required. 3/4 helmets appear to be the most popular. I have not heard one loud pipe yet, even on the dozens of HD's that have roared past. I truly believe there is no association, at least in this city, between motorcycling and 1%'ers. I have yet to see one bad-a$$ biker, one crusty, badge-adorned vest, one biker babe, or anything with "colors." Riding is truly a mainstream and completely accepted and acceptable part of everyday life.

Utah’s not a country but we’re larger larger than some. We have no mandatory helmet law.

I suspect that alprider was referring to Europe, but I could be wrong.

We just put our deposit down on two of the new C125 Super Cubs. As you may remember Deb and I LOVE our old 81 C70 Cubs, so we just had to. Supposed to be here in January.
