With a single Cylinder, Air cooled, 29hp engine and 405lbs wet it is completely different than the cb11 but sure does look nice. I'm not sure if pricing is released yet.

Very cool bike, I'd love to get one for in-city-limits riding. Wouldn't care much to take it on the freeways though. I love that it still has a kick start and has fuel injection. I only wish they'd give it a bigger engine and go the route that triumph went.

Keep in mind they have the same weight listed for all their models (the cafe will be significantly lighter, I believe).
The bike's main attribute is its torque, it being a single 500 and all. It's essentially the same weight and horsepower as the ninja 300 i used to own, but has a TON more usable torque.

405 lbs for 29hp? That is pretty heavy for that kind of power output. It does look kind of cool, but I'd rather have something a bit lighter weight for a second tool-around bike.

I never really understood why people look at horsepower when trying to see how well a motorcycle will 'go'. You want to be looking at torque Smile

Horsepower is for top speed- something this bike was never meant to do.

Sounds like the bike has undergone a transformative makeover. Very surprising commentary about the shift quality of the new 6-speed.

I've read consistently favorable reviews of this bike, and its stablemate the 650 Interceptor. The one I sat on felt heavier than I expected, however. I love the vibe but think a V7 would offer a more satisfying retro experience (leftover '17's and '18's can be found for similar money). It's a bigger bike, and styled from an earlier decade, but for my money the reintroduced W800 would get my nod over either of these.
