I was a pilot for 45 years and watched technology change the way we flew, from round gauges to flat screens. It was a great period of time. Sorry I had to retire.
Now I'm into motorcycles and sure would like to see some of that technology come to our sport. Fly by wire was such a great thing, sure would like to see that come to the motorcycle world. Ride by wire, Abs, Gps, electronic cruise control, traction control, flat screens instead of the standard round guages. Some top end bikes have made the transition.
I would like to see the after market engineers develope that technology for the smaller bikes so we could ad them on. Is anyone out there doing this? I would pay for this technology!!!!!

They have bikes with all that stuff. Ours isn't one of them.

You can get all that now and more. Many mid to top end bikes now have six-axis Inertial Measurement Units providing cornering ABS and Traction control, constantly adaptive active damping, multiple rider modes altering suspension, ABS, traction control and throttle response, adaptable cruise control and all sorts of Bluetooth enabled TFT's. You couldn't of missed them, surely? 6-Axis IMU's have already hit the mid range (KTM) but you'd have to wonder if a little 25HP 300cc bike would benefit?

Now now guys, you accepted tubeless alloy wheels, got rid of your choke lever, fuel injection instead of carbs, rear suspension instead of a sprung saddle, electronic advance/retard, disc brakes instead of drum, electronic trip computers and digital fuel gauge, LED lights, O-Ring chains and a few more things to boot.... 
And some of you even have a new fangled DCT thingy on your second bike! As long as it has two wheels all good in my eyes.

true but at heart, we are twin shocks, twin gauges, round headlights kinda guys.
