STAIN-Magic by Yoshimura. Made in Japan. No sanding, no steel wool. Superb on stainless steel. Just use some good ol' men's cotton t-shirts (and wear hand/eye protection).
I have gone an entire year without re-application. Before the pipes were chocolate brown toned, but not consistently - especially after a rain ride. I wished it was, but probably too much to ask.
