Anyone have any experience with these on their CB? I use them exclusively on the Bonneville with great results.

I just had the Roadriders installed on my '14 DLX back in June. Like you, I also used to run them on the '07 T100 I used to own (man I miss that bike!). The Roadriders are glorious, just like I remember them being on the Triumph....BUT....and this is strange....even though they have the same tire numbers stamped on the side as the previous Bridgestones they replaced, the tires lift the bike noticeably higher off the ground. It leans over quite far on the side stand now, it is far easier to lift onto the center stand, and I even can tell I have to reach a little farther with my toes to touch the ground at a stop. If I had to guess, I'd say the bike sits somewhere between a half inch to a full inch higher than it did with the OEM tires on it. Overall, it's not a bad thing, I'm already used to it, but there it is. Otherwise, I love the Roadriders. They handle great, they look great, and if they last like the ones I had on my Bonnie, I'll have no complaints at all!

My bike came with Avon Roadriders and 2200 miles on the bike.
I now have 6000 miles and they still look great and absolutely fantastic braking and handling. my bike does lean a lot on the side stand and i have no center stand so i carry and oyster shell with me for soft ground.
I will replace these tires with the same when the time comes . very pleased

Thank you kind sir for your informed response. I can't imagine the extra "height" will bother me and it may give me a little more room to lean her over without dragging the pegs! I have had a great experience with them on the Bonnie and they last close to 7K on the front. I have plowed through the stock Bridgestone up front in only 5500 on the Honda so perhaps I'll get some more mileage with the Avons.
Thanks use2b. Thats a sweet looking ride. Gotta scrub those chicken strips in though!Big Grin

I see you are running Avon tires on spoke wheels. That's good news, as there are no replacement Dunlop Sportmax Touring tires for the 2017 CB1100 EX in North America.

I guess my next set of tires will be made by Avon. This takes me back to my BSA days when Avon Speedmasters were the tires of choice.

Thanks!

There are also Avon Cobra tires available in 18 inch (radial)
I had them on my CB 1000's and they are good tires but not cheap.
