Ok... Had the opportunity to take a few pics and put this post up for Roper since he asked about the pegs. I bought them off a forum member for around $25 or so. Been pretty happy with them. Cycle Pirates is the manufactuer and not familiar with the brand or its reputation.
First pic is the pegs adjusted as low as possible. You can see another hole directly below the hexhead bolt. That allows for the peg (barrel) to be raised about 1/2 inch. The two small holes on the left side are for a locking peg should you decide to use the other hole. The knurling is very 'crisp' and really bites into the sole of any footwear I have.
The second pic is with the arm and peg removed. All those small holes are for the locking pin depending on where you decide to place the peg in relationship to the numbers on a clock face. The pegs do have a lot of adjustment options. Roper asked if I needed to adjust the bike levers. I chose not to do that since I was just doing this change for extra leg room on a 600 mile day trip. I suppose if I played around with ALL the adjustment options I may be able not to have to mess with the bike. Should point out on the trip had to shift somewhat pigeon toed and be careful not to mash the brake lever as it was slightly above the peg and was touchy to lock up on gravel. I have one of the CB's that has a rear brake that doesn't take much effort to engage and it really DOES engage. Also, I don't see how the brake lever can be adjusted. I think it's set where its at (but I could be wrong on that). The mess around the holes is from Loctite. That would clean up and look as new. There's NO wear or wobble or movement in these pegs after 16,000 miles.
View from the backside of the removed peg with the three small lock pin holes depending on what you want the adjustment at. You can see the second hole in the arm for adjustment. I can't tell you how much I liked the low setting on the trip. No cramps. Bike felt spacious. I do like the more sporting setting for day to day commute and zipping around the canyons but for longer trips I'm making the adjustment from now on... Only about 3 minutes per peg.
