Thanks for all your help on this! I put a deluxe on my '13 standard and love the way it looks and is more comfortable since the dlx seat had been reworked by Spencer at Great Day to Ride seats.

I have a 2013 CB1100 and as most people have found, the seat is too hard and you will want to be taking breaks after 40 minutes of riding. I've heard the 2014 seat FITS, and I believe this deluxe seat is what they have changed to. Is it a more comfortable, softer seat?

Before I pull the trigger and buy, can anyone who has bought this seat confirm that I will find it much softer and that it is a fit that won't be wearing away the paint on the tank and the leather on the seat from rubbing on the rear grab bars? THIS IS interesting. This note was on the DAYTONA COZY SEAT: "Up-type seat. You may have difficulty putting your feet on the ground" I'm a little on the short side and on my tip-toes with the stock seat, which I think measures 30-31" from the ground. Anyone know what this would elevate my seat top to?
