One more masterpiece by Seth Laam. Amazing function, fit and finish. I would not go anywhere else to purchase a custom seat for a motorcycle.

The N1K has a similar forward lean as the ST1300 about 14% with risers. Through the Kawi forum i met a friend with a Corbin & Sargent and had a chance to mount both on my bike.

The Sargent was more of a bread loaf seat, raising you up at least an 1 1/2 with little contact patch. The Corbin was comfortable only when you leaned back on the seat putting you about a foot from the controls, forward lean to the bars would create hot spots.

Seth's seat has the largest contact patch when in the riding position which = comfort. Every part of your butt has contact so weight distribution is perfect. He also did a nose job on the front so at stops its the same as the stock seat.

He also gives you a nice discount if your a repeat customer.

Yes this whole week will be good for riding. Starting to be nippy in the mornings though. Guess it's like that up your way as well. I ran the heated grips on my ST the other day.

I like the N1K, for a 500lb bike its very stable on the highway and nimble around town, unlike my ST where you really had to be careful with the weight. I have just over 5K and it fills the spot between sport and tourer. If Kawi ever has a demo week out there take one out, I think you would like the bike.
Edit: one think you will notice coming off the CB & ST is the motor is wound up real tight, it needs 1 tooth up in the front and risers if your short like us.

I think I would like it too. Very similar in power delivery to the Gen 1 Yamaha, which was one of my favorite bikes. I had 2 of them. Except for a notchy transmission, they were excellent bikes. Wish Yamaha would have made a shaft drive sport tourer out of the Gen 1 FZ's. Then again, except for the shaft Kawasaki did!
