Hey guys wondering if these front and rear tires will fit the CB1100? I am thinking of going on light gravel roads and the specs on the website seem to match with the bike's wheels. Any comments?
thanks!

They should fit. The radius on the rear will be about 1/2 inch greater. Just check the clearance on your stock tire to verify that you've got the room. I don't think there will be any issues. Assuming you'll be using the 110/80-18 on the front, that matches the stock size, so you're good.
I put these Scorpions on my CB750 several years ago for a mega camping / roadtrip. They worked great on dirt/gravel forest service roads. Totally eliminated that slippery feeling you get when using street tires on unpaved back roads.

Thanks Flyn for the useful info. I want to transform the CB into a more subtle Scramble style.
If the rear is an extra inch higher, I would think it's much more safer to assume it would fit fine, rather than width?
Was the wheels on your CB750 the same dimensions as the CB1100?
I remember GCarper posted dual sport tires on his CB1100 but they were not matching. Wonder why he didn't go for a matching MT90.
Thanks

Width clearance is usually more of an issue, unless you decide to go crazy tall.

Close, but not exactly. The front tires are the same, but the CB750 uses a 17" rim on the rear. (i.e. Stock size 140/70-17 vs. 140/70-18). This was almost 7 years ago and I used a 150/70-17 on the rear. Looks like they don't sell that size anymore.

Hold everything! Hey, Lemontree I was doing some tire shopping this evening and happened to come across a listing for these particular tires. The pic you posted in your first post is for a rear tire only. The 140/80-18 should fit on the rear, but there is no matching front tire that'll fit the CB11. The 110/80-18 shown in your pic is a rear tire and shouldn't be mounted to the front. All of the MT90 front tires are 21" diameter.
The closest Scorpion front listed on their data sheets looks like a Scorpion Trail 100/90-18.

Thanks for the heads up Flynn! Any reason why I can't used a rear tire for the front? What would be the effect?
I've read that you can switch the tire backwards so it will be fine (I think Heidenau K60s)?
Cheers

Front tires are designed for a different task. The tend to have a more triangular profile for handling and they're designed to absorb braking loads, rather than acceleration loads seen by a rear tire. Swapping the rotation direction should take care of the load issue, but that will mean the tread pattern (which keeps you from hydroplaning in wet weather) will be backwards and probably less effective.
Basically, you'll be the test pilot when it comes to handling and wet weather performance.

I recently installed the Pirelli duel sport tires on my '13 CB1100.
PIRELLI MT60 RS CORSA 110/80R-18 M/C 58H, FRONT
PIRELLI MT90 A/T 150/70R-18 M/C 70V, REAR (TUBELESS)
I believe the front tire is OEM on Ducati Scrambler & the rear tire was OEM on KTM 990 Adventure. I like the feel of the new tires...they seem to bring (to me) more confidence during the ride. Have had only 150 miles on them (all in one ride).
NOTE to folks who are considering this set: The rear tires makes a noticable road noise between 40-45mph...and then the noise disappears. I am not annoyed (yet!) but will keep the forum posted.

Yeah, you want the MT60 on the front since it's also tubeless. The MT90 110/80-18 requires a tube, which is why Sam and I went the route he explained. Went through the same thing a while back.
Here's the link to my original post if you want to see what they look like. I still have no idea why those pictures are sideways.
