Maybe your bike is just getting broken in, running smoother etc...how many miles on it now?

Which could be caused by the motor breaking in as blockhead said. We have noticed on the CB's that everything smooths out a bit, shifting gets better and gas mileage goes up around the 2000 mile mark on these engines.

At first I thought it was my imagination but I’ve noticed the suspension getting a bit smoother as well.
