But, there's a HUGH difference between a seven year old tire that sat in a tire rack, or in some back room for seven years, compared to a seven year old tire that's been on a motorcycle the entire seven years. On the bike for seven years it has been exposed to hundreds of heat cycles, hours of exposure to UV sunlight and road debris (oil, gasoline, road tar, water), and most-likely a few thousand miles of wear and tear. 

With this said, IMHO that video is worthless, and even dangerous to be disseminating information that so clearly over-looks critical facts.
