For many years I used to go to the International Motor cycle Show in different cities. (Philly, Greenville and the last one in Charlotte in 2013 )
After the 2008 financial melt down they got worse and worse.
Did any one go to Orlando last year to the AIMEXPO and was it worth going ?

I went, and I really liked it. So much that this year I'm going to plan even more time there.
Florida has been traditionally passed over for these types of shows, I think because of Daytona Bike Week. The manufacturers figure they get the exposure they need there. But I like the AIM format so much better. At Bike Week you have to dig through too much cole slaw and silicon to get to the hard-core Moto product information I'm after. At AIM you're getting a hypo straight into your IV.
The show has the potential to become the US EICMA, with major product announcements, new model releases, etc. Suzuki released the new VStrom 1000 there, and Buell their RX. There were hundreds of manufacturers.
Last year the show was only open to the public the final two or three days. Its primarily a B2B industry show vs. a consumer show.
